About the Author
Born in Winnipeg, Canada, Ms. Belkin grew up in an artistic household. Both of her parents were members of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, and the family environment was heavily focused on music and the visual arts. Ms. Belkin is an accomplished sculptor, and has had successful group and solo exhibitions. One exhibition in particular, noted for much media attention, was Ms. Belkin's solo Terra Cotta exhibit at the Manitoba Parliament Building in 1995. Her works are in many private collections worldwide.
Ms. Belkin graduated from the University of Manitoba with degrees in both Education and Counseling. In addition to her promotional work for the Cosmetics Cookbook, Ms. Belkin teaches English in the German school system, and provides language workshops to various academic institutions.
